Öz-Ege Tobacco Inc. operates in tobacco business, involving buying and exporting unprocessed tobacco leaves. The Company was organized in 1996 as a joint venture by Ege Tobacco founded by ALİBERTİ Family in 1937 and Özgener Tobacco founded by ÖZGENER Family in 1960. Each founding company owns 50 percent share of the capital.

Öz-Ege Tobacco Inc. management believes in continuous development in order to achieve competing interest. Aliberti and Özgener families consolidate their accumulated knowledge, experience and financial resources for realizing a big investment project, a modern processing facility in Torbalı in 2002.

In 2013 the real estate’s properties belonging to the Company were divided and the leaf processing facility was transferred to the newly founded company named Oriental Tobacco Packaging Inc. 50 percent of the capital shares of the new company was sold to Alliance One Tobacco Inc. in 2014 which is still in the tobacco business.

Our Company is the only one that procures leaf tobacco from all growing regions in Turkey and aims to grow.
